Role Summary

• Respond to customer enquiries and advise on all non-Organisation products and services.
• Procure and issue policies and renewals in accordance with current guidelines and take payment for same.
• Identify and convert new sales opportunities.
• Develop and service nominated customers and product lines in accordance with current guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in devising a business plan and objectives to deliver Group Wide Objectives.
• Liaise with clients and all other stakeholders regarding clients’ insurance needs or clients’claims.
• Input data into the OpenGI software system and maintain timely, accurate reporting.
• Service and support Westmed Client Bank.
• Procure documentation from relevant policy providers and issue subsequent new policies and renewals within the established documented procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive – Europe, Senior management or the Core team.

Key Accountabilities

• Supervise the Broking Administrator. Be responsible for performance management, training and development.
• Identify and convert new business sales opportunities.
• Contact existing policy holders to review current needs and identify opportunities for cross selling.
• Identify new market opportunities for WestMed e.g. schemes, new products etc.
• Network and maintain a high profile in the local business community.
• Develop and maintain business relationship with business unit heads, staff and external vendors.
• Study and develop professional skills and qualifications to highest level.
