Role Purpose
Our client is now seeking a Part-Time HR Manager to join their team in Ceuta, Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pro-active, professional and commercially-driven HR services.
HR Strategy
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Divisional HR strategy at the Ceuta site
- Support and deliver change initiatives
Reward, Benefits and Services
- Inform and assist the site manager with the delivery of reward and benefits information
- Provide a superior HR service to all internal and external stakeholders of the Ceuta operation
Employee Relations
- Key management reference point for policy, legislation and HR best practice
- Support the business in managing absence, disciplinary, grievance and sickness issues
- Maintaining all employee files in accordance with GDPR
- Manage and support Employment Tribunal cases
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are documented and kept up to date with local Ceuta employment legislation; inform managers and individuals of any changes and provide training on changing requirements
- Continual monitoring of Peakon scores and take steps to maintain a healthy eNPS score within the Ceuta site, highlighting any areas of concern to senior management
- Liaison with external partners in relation to payroll
- Preparation of contractual documentation for new starters and other associated paperwork, and informing local authorities and Social Security as required
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that promotes high performance
- Ensure training needs are covered and liaise with stakeholders to ensure training and development programs are in place
- Promote a positive working environment
- Take an active part in the Employee Engagement Committee
Resourcing
- Responsible for local recruitment activities including advertising, contacting candidates, supporting interviews where needed and on-boarding activity
- Reduce use of agencies / ensure recruitment costs are kept to a minimum
- Ensure best practice and alignment to business strategy
- Develop and maintain a preferred supplier list for the site
HR Management
- Manage cross functional/cross Divisional relationships
- Report on internal employee demographics and external data to highlight key trends
Knowledge Skills & Experience
- Chartered CIPD qualified or relevant experience
- Min 5 years’ experience as a HR Manager, HR Business Partner or equivalent role
- Experience of, and ability to work within, a multi-functional business
- Building of strong working relationships
- Good working knowledge of betting and gaming preferred
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of Spanish employment legislation and its application within the business
- Proven track record of managing ER cases (preferably including Tribunals)
- Drive, ownership, and organisation skills
- Coaching and facilitation skills
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, written and spoken

Working Hours:
25 hours per week, Mon-Fri
