Business Risk Manager

Duties and responsibilities:
- To execute 1LOD preventative and detective controls
- To perform suitability and cross-border group controls and report accordingly to Group functions
- To prepare agenda, pack and minutes for Quarterly Joint Operating Committee and Monthly Operational Risk Committee
- To test changes for Avaloq and Nepal releases
- To assist with the RCSA process
- Act as initial point of contact for Gibraltar raised Operational Risk issues
- To act as cover for Product Risk Specialist

- Strong IT skills; learn to use multiple systems interchangeably for the completion of everyday tasks and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio and Outlook)
Expected requirements:
- CISI Level 4 or Level 6, strongly desirable
- University degree is desirable
- Knowledge of the banking industry and relevant regulatory requirements / expectations
- Experience in risk management
- Experience working within private banking – ideally in a small to mid-sized organisation and/or a non-UK or Gibraltar headquartered organisation operating in the UK or Gibraltar would be particularly valuable
- In-depth knowledge of outsourcing arrangements
