Our Client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team, helping to provide fraud reports and analytical data to the department including creating, producing and presenting analytical data.
Responsibilities:
- To create, run, and investigate the results of all fraud reports as required by the Customer Safety and Due Diligence department (to include all regular scheduled reports and any ad hoc queries).
- To analyse and investigate accounts that are brought to the relevant fraud reports, to perform fraud and risk investigations into deposits, cash outs, game play, bonuses, and chargebacks, and to take any relevant actions with these members’ accounts.
- To liaise with other Fraud teams, including the Operations team, and assist them in their work enquiries and day to day operations through running and reviewing fraud reports.
- To provide analytical reports on specific fraud patterns and concerns on a regular basis, and for ad hoc queries.
- Additional tasks as required.
Skills required:
- Online gaming or e-commerce experience.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Previous experience in a statistical analysis role.
- Expert level of Excel, DWH & Business Objects, or if external, expert knowledge of similar applications.
- Previous experience of presenting analysis to senior management.
- Highly investigative nature, good attention to detail and highly analytical.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Adaptable to change in work priorities and ad hoc projects.
- Good organisational and time management skills, approachable, flexible, and able to learn quickly.
- Pragmatic problem-solver.
