Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare bank, fixed asset and other monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Prepare daily reports including liquidity, large exposure, fiduciary and fx.
- Prepare weekly reports including fiduciary and liquidity.
- Prepare VAT returns.
- Pro-actively manage the daily transactions including money markets, fiduciaries and fx.
- Process the monthly journals including accruals and prepayments.
- Managing the renewal of loans and mortgages for clients.
- Pro-actively update the fixed asset register.
- Pro-actively prepare regulatory returns for all entities.
- Review commercial mortgage audit letters.
- Processing of employee expenses and invoice payments.
- Pro-actively participate in any project management initiatives, including system testing.
- Prepare any periodic and adhoc reporting requested by management.
- Work closely within the Finance team and across the wider business as required.
- Complete the Bank’s annual training plan and programme.
- Exercise duties and tasks in line with the Bank’s Directives and Governance framework.

Competencies:
- Accounting Experience
- Banking Knowledge and or Experience preferable
- Numeric Dexterity
- Strong Relationship Skills (internal & external)
- Strong awareness of the regulatory environment
- High level of integrity
- Ability to work under pressure
